These terms cover your use of Flagbook, made by Mix Puppy Inc. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.
Who This Is For
Flagbook is intended for use by coaches and adults (18 or older) organizing flag football teams. It is not directed at children, even though the roster information you enter may include the names of minors on your team.
License to Use the App
Mix Puppy Inc. grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Flagbook on devices you own or control, for organizing and coaching your own team(s). You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app itself.
Flagbook Pro (Subscription)
Flagbook is free to download and use, with a limited set of built-in plays and a small cap on how many of your own plays you can save. Flagbook Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the full built-in play library, unlimited saved plays, and the Batch Duplicate, Export, and Import features. Flagbook Pro is offered in three billing options — choose whichever fits how you coach:
- Monthly: $4.99 USD per month, billed monthly, until cancelled.
- Season Pass: $12.99 USD every 3 months, billed until cancelled.
- Annual: $39.99 USD per year, billed annually, until cancelled.
- Free trial: new subscribers on the Monthly plan get 7 days of full access at no charge before billing begins. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to paid and your payment method is charged. The Season Pass and Annual plans don't include a free trial.
- Billing and renewal: payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription automatically renews for the same price and duration unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing, cancelling, or switching plans: manage, cancel, or switch between billing options anytime in your device's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Since Apple handles all billing, we don't have the ability to process cancellations or refunds directly — Apple's own refund policies apply, and requests should go through Apple.
- Price changes: if we change a subscription's price, you'll be notified in advance as required by Apple's guidelines, and the new price will only apply to renewals after you've had a chance to review it.
Your Content
Plays, rosters, lineups, and any other information you create within Flagbook are yours. As described in our Privacy Policy, this content is stored locally on your device — we don't host it, access it, or claim any ownership over it. You're responsible for keeping your own backups (via the app's Export feature, a Flagbook Pro feature) since we have no copy to restore from if it's lost.
Acceptable Use
Use Flagbook lawfully and don't attempt to disrupt, exploit, or misuse the app or its underlying code. Since Flagbook stores everything locally with no shared or public spaces, there's no user-generated content feed or community area to moderate — this section mainly covers not tampering with the app itself.
No Warranty
Flagbook is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Play design, roster management, and the in-app game clock are coaching tools, not official league timing or scoring systems — always confirm official rules and time with your league or officials.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mix Puppy Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data (such as plays or rosters not backed up before a reinstall or device change).
Changes to the App or These Terms
We may update Flagbook's features or these terms over time. If we make a material change to these terms, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Termination
You can stop using Flagbook at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms, though given the app's local-only, account-free design, this would in practice mean no longer distributing updates to that user rather than remotely disabling anything already installed.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
